When I decided to become a photographer...
One of my personal convictions when I started to peruse this passion was to always make photos of my own kids a priority. And I've done alright with that through the years, though this year so far has been the toughest with that.
Through my own shortcomings, my kids have started to dread going to take photos because I am often high-strung or stressed when doing my own photos. It is never like that with others, only with my own kids (tell me I'm not alone in this...)
So, when I got the message from my bestie that she wanted to do princess photos of her daughter and invited us along at the same time, I was of course elated at the idea.
As an added bonus...
I knew going into this shoot that it was Kate-focused and not to really worry about getting photos of my boy, however I did make sure to dress him up just in case... and I'm sure glad I did.
